Councilmember Sashi McEntee
Sashi McEntee was elected to the City Council in November 2015. She serves as the Mill Valley City Council representative on the Boards of Directors for Marin Clean Energy (MCE) and Marin Telecommunications Agency (MTA). She serves as the Council’s liaison to the Mill Valley School District, and she serves as delegate to the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). Sashi also serves as alternate board member to the Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM), the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM), and the League of California Cities North Bay Division Executive Committee. She also serves on the Marin Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) and League of California Cities Revenue and Taxation Policy Committee.
Prior to being elected, Sashi served as Vice Chair of the City’s Emergency Preparedness Commission and as Chair of the Mill Valley Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Steering Committee. Sashi is a Mill Valley School District parent and is an active school and Kiddo! Volunteer. She is a former president of the Shelter Ridge Homeowners Association board of directors.
Professionally, Sashi has worked in finance and business development. Sashi has also served on the boards of several nonprofits, including ODC/Dance, California Association for the Gifted, and California Women’s Leadership Association.
Sashi has lived in Mill Valley for 17 years and is proud to be raising her two daughters here.
