[ARCHIVED] Thank You Jill Young!

The City of Mill Valley would like to recognize Jill Young for her good works as she retires from her early morning rounds at Lytton Square.

Jill Young is a long-time resident and volunteer in Mill Valley. For 32 years, she was a core member of Bloomathon, a small but mighty group of women who planted daffodil bulbs and beautified our community. In addition for the last 22 years, she has tenderly cared for Lytton Square and its splash of color year around. She continues to extend her care to include the Elizabeth Terwilliger Marsh while harnessing the efforts of multiple volunteers even while being co-director of Clean Mill Valley. Jill can be seen picking up litter all around town, but with the upcoming plans to aerate the redwoods at Lytton Square, this seemed a good opportunity for her to scale back a minimal amount of her many volunteer efforts.

Jill is a jewel in our community and we thank her!
