happy_graduation_day

Congratulations to the Classes of 2022!

To help with traffic flow during graduation ceremonies, there will be no road closures on East Blithedale Ave on June 9th, 2022!

The East Blithedale Rehabilitation Project team has been hard at work! Project improvements include rehabilitating pavement and sanitary sewer lines, installing new bike lanes, pedestrian ramps, pedestrian bulb-outs, and crosswalks, and improving access to local residential, school, and business areas.

Construction began the week of April 10th, 2022 and will continue through 2023. Please note that construction schedules are subject to change. We appreciate your continued patience.

You may encounter minor traffic delays and limited street parking due to the dynamics of the work involved. Argonaut Constructors will provide flaggers, as needed, at all intersections as well as driveways as needed throughout the project. Access to businesses, schools, and residents in the area affected will be our number one priority.

Part of this project requires the closure of one lane on E. Blithedale and Ashford Ave and shifting traffic during construction. One lane in each direction will be provided. Construction signage, barricades, and cones will be in place. We will try to minimize the inconvenience to you, however, construction noise will be present through the times stated. We will mitigate traffic as best as possible but delays are to be expected.
