[ARCHIVED] You're Invited To Attend This Month's Neighborhood Evacuation Drill Events - CANCELED

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED

Due to the huge success of our Neighborhood Evacuation Drill, Southern Marin Fire District & Mill Valley Fire will be hosting two more this month of October! The drill will focus on select neighborhoods within Tam Valley and Cascade Canyon/Summit. Residents within these neighborhoods will receive an invitational postcard with special instructions on how to attend. Like our last series of Neighborhood Evacuation Drill Events, via AlertMarin the morning of the drill to fetch their "Grab and Go Bag" and head down to your "Community Refuge Area" for a 10 minute presentation, Q&A, and access to additional safety resources. 

The goal of this event is to build muscle memory and practice what to do and where to go during an emergency evacuation.

Please note, if you did not receive an invitational postcard and would like to attend to listen to the presentation presented by emergency law enforcement, ALL are welcome. Please sign up for AlertMarin.org and attend the location that best suits your needs and/or schedule.

Event One - Cascade Canyon/Summit

Community Refuge Area Meeting Location: Meet at Old Mill School, 352 Throckmorton Ave, Mill Valley 

When: Saturday, October 23, 2021 

Time: 10:00 am sharp

 

Event Two - Tam Valley

Community Refuge Area Meeting Location: Meet at Tam Valley Elementary, 350 Bell Ln, Mill Valley 

When: Saturday, October 23, 2021 

Time: 1:00 pm sharp
