2022 Registration Information

2022 Click Off Photography Competition registration is now available! Please fill out the online form below to register as a participant.

About the Click Off Photography Competition

The "Click Off" is a photo competition to capture images within Marin County during the contest dates pertaining to one of four categories. New categories coming your way for 2022!

Categories will be randomly chosen by Recreation staff following the “Click Off - Kick Off “ which will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:00pm.

Registered participants will be informed of their randomly selected category and image upload instructions via email on Thursday, October 20th by 3pm.

Participants of this photography competition will capture images pertaining to one of four subject categories within Marin County during the dates of October 20th through November 3rd, 2022.

Images must be captured within Marin County during the contest dates.

Click Off Competition submission from 2021

Participants will have until midnight, November 3rd to upload their selected digital image that best represents their subject category.

Applicants Will Be Divided Into 3 Different Age Ranges:

  • Youth (10yrs & under)
  • Young Adult (11yrs - 17yrs)
  • Adult (18yrs & over)

Competition fee:

  • 15yrs & under - $15
  • 16yrs - 61yrs - $25
  • 62yrs & over - $15

The Best in Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age range will have their winning image displayed on a lamp post banner along Miller Ave. for the month of January 2023. Once the lamp post banners have been taken down, they will be given to the winning photographers as a memento of their competition win!

  1. Is this participant under the age of 18?*
  2. I acknowledge that:*
    • The Click Off Photography Competition Kick-Off event will take place via ZOOM on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 at 6pm.
    • The ZOOM meeting invite will be sent to the email address listed above.
  3. I acknowledge that:*
    • My photo category will be randomly assigned to me after the Click Off Kick-Off event and will be
      emailed to me on Oct. 20, 2022 by 3pm.
    • Image upload instructions will also be sent to me, via email, with my randomly chosen category.
  4. I acknowledge that*
    • My photo submission must have been taken in Marin County within the contest dates of Oct. 20 - Nov. 3, 2022. 
    • I must upload my photo submission (according to the upload instructions that are sent with my chosen category), by Nov. 3, 2022 at 11:59pm.
    • Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification.
  5. I acknowledge that:*
    • A staff member will contact me at the phone number listed above (Guardian's phone number if participant is under 18), after submitting this registration form, to obtain Visa or MasterCard information to process the entry fee.
    • The entry fees for the Click Off Photography Competition are as follows:
      • Ages 0-15: $15
      • Ages 16-61: $25
      • Ages 62 & Over: $15
  6. I acknowledge that:*
    • If my photo is chosen as a winner, it will be printed on a 2ft x 4ft banner and hung down Miller Ave. on a lamppost during the month of Jan. 2023 (may be extended at Mill Valley Arts Commission's discretion).
    • The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 at 5:30pm at the Mill Valley Community Center.
