Teen Summer Programming Volunteering is back!
Teen Advisory Board | 2nd Tuesday of the month 4pm
The TAB will have monthly meeting, starting September 12th! Teens will advise the Youth Services Librarian on what books, materials, and programs teens in their community need. They also use these meetings to plan and host library programs as well as outreach projects in their community. All members will volunteer in both children and teen programs at the library. SewSmart: Teen Sewing Workshop
Learn to sew at the library! Bring a sewing machine or use one of ours and we’ll teach you how to use it. With hands-on help and simple, fun projects, you’ll be an expert in no time! Grades 6-12 Registration required. 1st Tuesday of the month.
Teen Book Bundles
Do you ever have a hard time finding what to read next? Let us get you some great books to try. With a Teen Book Bundle you’ll get a selection of Young Adult titles hand-picked by a Librarian and tailored to what you enjoy. Do you like romance or fantasy or dystopias? Maybe you’re craving horror or comedy or stark realism, or something else entirely. Whatever your taste, click here to answer a few quick questions about what you like and don’t like to read. Then we’ll choose three great books and put them on hold for you to pick up at the Library. It’s that easy to discover some great new books, and they’re chosen just for you.
