Licensed & Unlicensed Professionals

Contractors or Architects must apply for a permit online. If this is your first time applying for a permit you will need to request a professional user account. Please provide the following information to the Building Department at

  1. Your State License Number
  2. Name of Company
  3. Office mailing address (this is available to the public on our website)
  4. Phone number
  5. Email address

If you are an unlicensed design professional, please provide answers for items 2 through 5 and let us know you are unlicensed.

Please Note: New account may take up to 7 business days to create.

Plan Submittal Process

If your project requires plans and or supporting documents to be submitted we will email you a Dropbox transfer request once we have reviewed your application. Please note, it may take up to a week for us to email the transfer request. Once we have received your plans, they will be routed to the appropriate departments for review.

Minor Permits

Generally do not need plan review. If your project is larger in scope than what is listed below you will need to proceed to either Non-Structural Kitchen & Bath Remodels or Plan Check Residential or Commercial. Once an application is received it will be reviewed for compliance. This may take up to 7 working days.

Types of Minor Permits:

  • Furnace
  • Water Heater
  • Mechanical (A/C, Boiler) AC requires a site plan showing where unit is located and db’s
  • Plumbing (waterline, gas line, sewer laterals)
  • Electrical (electrical panel replacements, max 200 AMP, main electrical service, or subpanels)
  • Re-Roof
  • Window & Door Replacements
