Computers, devices, big data, self-driving cars, social media – the world is moving fast and it’s easy to feel left behind. Join Digital Services Librarian Franklin Walther for a monthly series of classes that will give you a solid grounding in the digital world.

From tracking cookies to facial recognition to always-listening smart speakers, retaining any shred of privacy in our modern age might seem impossible. While we won’t be sanding off our fingerprints or hacking into any government databases, we’ll explore a few key areas of threat and a few straightforward things we can do about them.
