Marin Traveling Poetry Show

It’s time for the annual summer reading series, The Marin Poetry Center Traveling Show. These poetry readings are held at public libraries, bookstores, and community centers across the Bay Area in June, July, and August.

Poets:

Claire Blotter teaches poetry writing and performance to Marin elementary through university level students. She’s published 3 chapbooks and received a 2018 Fischer Prize Finalist Award.

Bill Carney’s a landscape architect; president of Sustainable San Rafael; and has published two book-length poems: Mountain, An Evolutionary Epic, and Cities, A Nuclear Peace Poem.

Terri Glass is a writer of the natural world which includes poetry, essay and haiku. A long time teacher with CALPOETS in the schools, she served as their statewide director from 2008-11.

Linda Michel-Cassidy lives on a houseboat in Sausalito. She teaches and podcasts for the Mill Valley Library, and is a visual artist.

Margaret Stawowy is a librarian—also, a dental hygienist, waitress, and cleaning lady for two elderly cats not in the last impressed with her publication credits and awards.
