Clare Malone is a senior writer at FiveThirtyEight and a panelist on the weekly FiveThirtyEight politics podcast, among the most-downloaded podcasts in the country. She previously served on the editorial staff of The New Yorker and The American Prospect and her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times and Harper's, among others.
