Presentation by the Mycological Society of Marin County.

This lecture will highlight fascinating and strange traits of fungi which have evolved in response to environmental pressures, in order to survive. Noah Siegel's field mycology skills are extensive. He has spent over two decades seeking, photographing, identifying, and furthering his knowledge about all aspects of macrofungi. He just finished writing a comprehensive guide, along with co-author Christian Schwarz, called Mushrooms of the Redwood Coast. Noah travels and lectures extensively across America, following the mushrooms from coast to coast, and everywhere in between..
