GardenSmart: Sustainable Practices for Water-Wise Gardening| June 10th, 7:00 pm

This hands-on class focuses on permaculture and sustainable techniques for your home garden. Topics such as sheet-mulching, the benefits of compost and mulch, bio-intensive edible gardening, hydrozoning, and native plants will be covered.
About our speaker:  Lori Caldwell is an Alameda County Master Composter, avid edible gardener and Bay-Friendly Qualified Landscape Professional. She has been happily teaching sustainable gardening classes all over the Bay Area since 2007.  Her mission is to connect people to the soil and all that it provides.
