Earlier this morning the traffic signal at Camino Alto and East Blithedale began experiencing technical difficulties which require immediate repair. City staff responded and crews are currently working on fixing the issue. Repairs are estimated to begin around noon today and last until approximately 5:00 p.m. this afternoon. There will be City staff and Police Officers on the scene helping to direct traffic and mitigate the impacts to drivers. When updates on the traffic signal's condition are known, they will be provided to the public.
***Update: At approximately 3:30 p.m. this afternoon (2/24/14) the contractor who was working on the traffic signal at Camino Alto and East Blithedale confirmed with City staff that the light had been repaired and was fully operational. No other delays at that intersection have been reported.***
