The City of Mill Valley is currently soliciting interest from the Mill Valley community to serve on a Zoning and Design Guideline Advisory Committee (ZDAC) as part of the implementation of policies and programs contained in the Mill Valley General Plan and 2009-2014 Housing Element. The ZDAC will work with staff, consultants and the Mill Valley community to review and discuss updates to the City's zoning regulations, development standards and design guidelines for commercial and multi-family zoned areas.
The ZDAC will be composed of seven community members, including: Councilmember Wachtel, a Planning Commissioner, commercial property owner (recommended by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce), neighborhood association representative, architect, residential property developer and resident at-large.
The application period has been extended to 5:00pm on January 23, 2014 (see application for details). Please note: if you are interested in applying for the commercial property owner position on the committee, please contact the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce. Appointments will be made by Mayor Stephanie Moulton-Peters and City Manager Jim McCann, and announced in late-January.
