Mill Valley Art Commission presents the 15th Annual Click Off Competition, November 5-17, 2013 

Each year during the autumn season, photographers of all ages and skill levels capture images unique to Marin County and each photographer’s perspective through the camera lens. Cell phone photos encouraged. Click here for details on how to participate.

FANTASTIC NEW PRIZES will include a stay at the Acqua Hotel, gift certificates to The Image Flow, Adobe Photography software, Annual Family, Individual and 20 Visit Passes to the Mill Valley Aquatics & Fitness Center, plus gift certificates from local eateries and businesses.


Esther Vermeer is a native of The Netherlands, where she studied Visual Communication at the Royal College for Art and Design. As an award winning Creative Director she has been responsible for design projects such as branding and identity systems, postage stamps, posters and books for numerous cultural- and commercial organizations and government. Esther also lived and worked in Montreal, Canada for a number of years and is now part of our Mill Valley community.

Michelle Grenier is a passionate mobile photographer. She majored in art history in college and further developed her eye through a career in documentary filmmaking. After discovering Instagram in 2011, she found a creative outlet in exploring the art of iPhone photography and quickly became a suggested user, developing a following of over 100,000. Michelle has been featured in photography campaigns for major brands including Samsung and Nike. She is an avid explorer and location scout, drawing primary inspiration from the landscapes and natural wonders of the Bay Area she calls home.

Ed Carey is currently the Director of Gallery 291 @ The Image Flow in Mill Valley. Gallery 291 exhibits contemporary photographs with an emphasis on many of the alternative processes of the 19th century. Prior to opening Gallery 291 Ed graduated from The Rochester Institute of Technology and worked in the field of commercial photography on San Francisco.
