Posted Date: 9/12/2013

Throckmorton Construction The City of Mill Valley would like to update the community regarding three important construction projects in the downtown area:

  • Sewer Line Replacement: The City is conducting a sewer line replacement project from Throckmorton Avenue at Bernard Street through the top of the Bernard Steps. The construction on Throckmorton Avenue is ongoing and is projected to end on Friday, September 13. The remaining work on Bernard Street will continue over the next two weeks from September 16 to 27.
  • Utility Replacement: Private contractors are currently replacing and installing new utilities for the apartments at 41 Lovell Avenue. Workers have finished repairs in the roadway at the intersection of Throckmorton and Miller Avenue, and anticipate finishing the work in the sidewalk by the end of next week.
  • Repaving: The Depot parking lot was paved on Monday, September 9. The pavement will cure for one week and the parking lot will be closed for final striping on Tuesday, September 17.

We appreciate your patience during these important construction projects. Please move safely through the construction areas and adhere to traffic signs and crosswalk closures. If you have questions or comments, please contact us.
