PRESENTATIONS

1. Presentation of a Proclamation Declaring May, 2014, as ‘Older Americans Month’ in the City of Mill Valley.

2. Presentation from Girija Brilliant, the City of Mill Valley Representative to the County’s Commission on Aging.

CONSENT CALENDAR:

3. Warrants--$460,698.23.
Recommended Action: Approve paying expenses authorized by the adopted City Budget.

4. Consideration of the Minutes of the April 7, 2014 Regular City Council Meeting.
Recommended Action: Approve the April 7, 2014 Regular City Council Meeting minutes.

5. Receive the Statement of General Fund Revenue and Expenditures as of March 31, 2104.
Recommended Action: Receive report.

6. Consideration of a Resolution Approving the Plans and Specifications and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute and Award a Contract to Coastside Concrete in the amount of $368,351 to Construct the Camino Alto, Miller Avenue/Almonte Boulevard Improvements Project and Approve the filing of a Notice of Exemption.
Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

NEW BUSINESS

7. Presentation of the Essential Business Disaster Resiliency Pilot Program to Council.
Recommended Action: Receive Presentation, discuss and provide direction to staff.

PUBLIC HEARING

8. Hear any Objections and Consider a Resolution to Continue the Tamalpais Park Street Tree Assessment District Improvements and to Levy the Assessment for Fiscal Year 2013-14.
Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

COUNCIL LIAISON REPORTS: An opportunity for Councilmembers to report on activities of the local and regional governmental bodies upon which they serve.

9. Mayor Moulton-Peters: Report on the Transportation Authority of Marin recent activities.
