     PRESENTATIONS

    1. Presentation of a Proclamation Honoring Kim Chandler on Her Recent Representation of Mill Valley at the 2014 New Jersey Special Olympics and Thanks for Her Longstanding Service to Our Community.

    CONSENT CALENDAR

    2. Consideration of the Minutes of the June 2, 2014 Regular City Council Meetings.
    Recommended Action: Approve the June 2, 2014 Regular City Council meetings minutes.

    3. Consideration of a Resolution Confirming the City of Mill Valley’s Position on the Proposed League of California Cities Resolutions that will be Considered and Voted on at the Annual Conference, September 3-5, 2014.
    Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

    4. Accept a $40,000 Grant from the State Library for a Water Conservation Garden.
    Recommended Action: Receive staff report and accept grant.

    5. Consideration of a Resolution Making an Appointment to the Planning Commission.
    Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

    OLD BUSINESS

    6. Consideration of a Resolution to Approve the Solar Energy Education and Demonstration (SEED) Solar Projects at the Community Center, Corporation Yard and Wastewater Treatment Plant (Continued from the June 2, 2014 Regular City Council meeting).
    Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.

    NEW BUSINESS

    7. Presentation of Findings and Recommendations Regarding Planning and Building Department’s Development Review and Construction Oversight Activities and Plans for Improvement.
    Recommended Action: Receive presentation, discuss, and provide direction as appropriate.

    8. Consideration of a Resolution to Approve the 2014 Street and Sewer Rehabilitation Project and Consideration of a Resolution to Authorize the Awarding of a Project to Design the 2015 Street & Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
    Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___ and Resolution No. 14-___.

    9. Consideration of a Resolution for the Boyle Park Tennis Courts Project Approving the Project Plans & Specifications, Authorizing a Budget Adjustment, and Authorizing the City Manager to Award and Execute a Construction Contract.
    Recommended Action: Adopt Resolution No. 14-___.
    PUBLIC HEARING

    10. Introduction of an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 17.04 Sewers-Construction of the Mill Valley Municipal Code to Establish Requirements for the Inspection and Repair or Replacement of Private Sewer Laterals
    Recommended Action: Introduce ordinance and waive First Reading.
