Introduction to Working on a Mac| March 8th, 1:00pm
This class is designed for people who are unfamiliar with working on a Mac. Class will cover how to work with a track pad and a mouse, how to create, name and save files, how folders are organized for applications, desktop, documents, downloads, movies, music and pictures, how to use spotlight search, efficiently access applications and information on a Mac, and how to use drop-down menus. After this class you will feel more confident and in control when working on a Mac.
Instructor: Lynne Watenpaugh
Lynne Watenpaugh has been a public school teacher for over twenty years. During her career she has taught both children and adults. She currently teaches technology classes at Mill Valley Middle School. She sees technology as a tool to manipulate in order to express one’s ideas. She has an undergraduate degree in English from UCLA, a Master Degree in Instructional Technology from San Francisco State University, is a California Writing Project Fellow, and a Google Certified Teacher.
