What can you possibly do to capture the imagination and attention of wee ones for twenty to thirty minutes? Come to a Thursday morning story time and find out. Naima, the inspiration behind our summer under-five programs, mesmerizes her audience with a combination of songs, finger and hand rhymes, and very short stories. She keeps the energy high and mood upbeat while exuding a charisma and warmth that kids can't resist. This is really a unique opportunity to expose your child to the mystique of libraries, the wonder of the spoken word, and the magic of books. Start early and you might very well have them hooked for life. These two Thursday story times are similar in format. The difference is that we use shorter books and maintain a faster pace for the younger set.
