Kathy King has been a Mill Valley resident since 1982. She recently retired from the position of Executive Director of the Mountain Play which she held for 7 years. Prior to that she practiced labor law in San Francisco for 16 years and owned and operated a home care business in San Rafael. She has been involved in school and community organizations for years including the Kiddo! Board, Kiddo! Endowment Chair, Chair of the Beryl Buck Institute for Education, Commissioner for the Marin County Commission on the Status of Women, Alzheimers’ Memory Walk committee, and the capital campaign committee for University High School. Kathy is an avid reader and user of the library. She loves to bike in Marin with her husband, Jerry Cahill. She has two grown children Carolyn and Kenny Cahill. Bill Lampl has lived in Mill Valley since 1997. His twenty five years of business experience include executive management, brand development, operations, sales, marketing, merchandising and product development. His consulting business, WJL Consulting, focuses on licensing management and business strategy. Bill also enjoys being an elementary, middle, and high school substitute teacher in Marin. In addition to serving on the Library Board of Trustees, Bill’s commitment to our community includes being an active member of the following: VP Fundraising, Mill Valley Middle School PTSA Executive Board; Scholarship Director, Southern Marin Youth Football Board of Directors; Manager, Mill Valley Little League.
