Be a Docent!
Volunteers in the Local History Room assist patrons in finding books, photos, maps and other items related to the history of Mill Valley and the local area. Examples of duties may include digitizing archival materials to make them available electronically, and filing and other clerical work, as needed.
Docents, as volunteers here are referred to, generally work two or three two-hour shifts per month. This is a great opportunity to become more familiar with our local history and work in a particularly beautiful area of the Library.
