Just before 3:30 am this morning, the Mill Valley community felt the 6.0 magnitude earthquake centered in the American Canyon area, about 6 miles southwest of Napa. Mill Valley emergency personnel report that after conducting surveys around town they did not encounter any abnormal conditions: no damage to public or private buildings, no power outages, and no related calls for service.
The City of Mill Valley encourages all residents to prepare for earthquakes to minimize risks to their homes, businesses and family during and after an earthquake. Click here for more info.
