Call for Artisits for 3 Seasonal Group Exhibitions

“CALL FOR ARTISTS”
for
3 Seasonal Themed Group Shows to be part of
First Tuesday ArtWalk

** Please note –Deadline: Entries must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 

The Mill Valley Art Commission is  accepting 2D work (sorry, we cannot accommodate 3D art or jewelry) from artists in the greater Bay Area to be considered to be part of seasonal themed group shows in the City Hall Council Chambers for the months of December, April and June. Shows are hung for one month; opening receptions are held on the first Tuesday of the month, and are part of the downtown Mill Valley “First Tuesday ArtWalk” 

Themes: December - Winter Exhibition;  Wonderland in Marin
                 April - Spring Exhibition; Earth's Beauty in Marin
                 June - Summer Exhibition;  Let the Sun Shine in Marin

Each artist may only submit 3 examples of their work in jpeg format. Artists may submit 3 examples for one show or 1 example for each seasonal  show and may be selected to display in multiple shows.

REGISTER VIA MAIL OR DROP OFF: Artists should mail or drop off an Artist Information Form and a CD with a maximum of 3 examples of their work in jpeg format representing the type and range of the art that would be included in their show and the Artist Information Sheet to Mill Valley Art Commission c/o Mll Valley Community Center, 180 Camino Alto, MV. Attn: Call for Artists. Also include a check for $20, payable to City of Mill Valley or Visa or MasterCard information. A receipt will be emailed to you for proof of payment once CD and payment is received.

REGISTER VIA ONLINE FORM: Artists can click here to complete an online Artist Information Form and then mail  or drop off a CD with a maximum of 3 examples of their work in jpeg format representing the type and range of the art that would be included in their show clearly labeled with Artist or Group name and contact information to Mill Valley Art Commission, c/o Mill Valley Community Center 180 Camino Alto, MV. Attn: Call for Artists. Also include a check for $20, payable to City of Mill Valley or Visa or MasterCard information. A receipt will be emailed to you for proof of payment once CD and payment is received.
