1. 221 Hillside – Colin Russell, Russell Architects – Design Review to Remodel Interior and Exterior – File No. PL14-4234 (Zanarini/ Kilgariff)
A request for Design Review approval to remodel an existing three-story Single Family Residence. The scope of proposed work includes an interior reconfiguration and a complete exterior remodel consisting of doors, windows, and cladding material updates, as well as new fixtures and finishes. No new square footage will be added to the dwelling.
The subject property is in the RS-7.5 (7,500 minimum square foot lot size) Zoning District.

2. 2 Eton Way – Ames/Frei – Design Review and Categorical Exemption From CEQA – File No. PL14-4205 (Zanarini)
A remodel and 1,750 SQFT. addition to an existing 2,216 SQFT. 2-Story Single Family home, add 35 SQFT. to an existing 500 SQFT. attached garage and add a 220 SQFT. open attached carport. This project was previously approved by the Zoning Administrator on April 23, 2008. The approval expired on April 23, 2010.
The subject property is in the RS – 10 (Single-Family Residential – 10,000 SQFT. min. lot size) Zoning District.

3. 308 Oakdale – Chambers - Design Review and Categorical Exemption – File No. 14-4228 (Zanarini)
Construction of a new 410 Square Foot detached accessory structure/Yoga Studio. The structure complies with all height and setback restrictions set forth in the Mill Valley Municipal Code.
 The subject property is in the RS – 6 (Single-Family Residential – 6,000 SQFT. min. lot size) Zoning District.

4. 345 E. Blithedale– Spendov – Design Review and Categorical Exemption  from CEQA – File No. PL14-4225 (Zanarini)
Remodel and re-roofing of the upper level of an existing Single Family residence with street frontage on East Blithedale Avenue.
The subject property is in the RS – 6 (Single-Family Residential – 6,000 SQFT. min. lot size) Zoning District.

5. 441 Tamalpais – Zack- Design Review, Tree Removal and Categorical Exemption From CEQA- File No. PL 13-4093 (Zanarini)
An amendment to an existing approved project to include a 674 SQFT. addition under the existing garage consisting of a 377 SQFT. Bedroom/bathroom on the first floor and a 377 SQFT. bedroom/bathroom on the second floor. The variance includes a 3'8" encroachment of the proposed addition into the exterior yard setback, three Oak Trees of 18", 22" and three branch shared root oak below the garage are proposed for removal. The subject property is in the RS – 20 Zoning District.

The next Zoning Administrator hearing is scheduled for September 17, 2014

Any decision made by the Zoning Administrator on the above items may be appealed to the Planning Commission by filing a letter with the Planning Department within 10 calendar days describing the basis for the appeal accompanied by a $250 appeal fee.
