Basic Video Editing with Photoshop | August 20th, 7:00pm
Did you know that Photoshop has all the tools you need to create, edit and export basic video projects? Take the Photoshop skills you already have and apply them to the moving image. In this class, we'll learn how to create and export a simple video project in Photoshop with footage taken from a smartphone camera. We'll work with video clips, still images and a soundtrack, using editing tools and Photoshop filters and effects to create a final project ready for the web. Please note that this is a beginner-level class, however it is not an introduction to Photoshop. This class presumes students have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and the Mac OS (or have already taken Photoshop Fundamentals at Mill Valley Public Library).
Instructor: Elaine Gruenke
Elaine Gruenke has worked as a professional graphic designer for the past fifteen years. She has a special passion for Photoshop, and her experience includes working on fine art for the Venice Biennale using Photoshop, as well as working as a project manager and lesson designer for Adobe Press’ Photoshop CS4 Classroom in a Book, Photoshop CS5 Classroom in a Book, and Photoshop CS6 Classroom in a Book. She is currently a Master of Arts candidate in Graphic Design at Savannah College of Art and Design, and is the owner of Smartwork Design (www.smartwork-design.com).
