Technology for Healthy Living: Apps, Devices, and More! | May 28th, 7:00pm
Part of improving one's lifestyle involves measuring and recording activities. In this class, we'll discuss different apps and devices that can help you measure, record and track everything from water and food intake, to physical activities from running and hiking to biking along with gym workouts, weight, heart rate and more!
Instructor: Debbie Leight
Debbie Leight is the owner of Computers Made Easy, a Bay Area-based company that offers computer, smartphone and tablet tutoring. Debbie grew up in Silicon Valley and has worked in software for her entire career. She spent more than seven years at Google, where she trained new hires and clients in the use of Excel and conducted classes on how to use Google Apps. She founded Computers Made Easy in 2001 and today works with a wide variety of clients, from grandmothers and grandfathers with their first iPhone or iPad to small business owners who want to use technology to be more productive.
Experience required: Basic computer skills, knowledge of Mac OS, using a keyboard and mouse
Pre-registration required. Unlimited registration. Attendees may bring their own computers / devices to use during the class, however this class will not be interactive.
