Travel & Cultural Lecture: The Wandering Scholar:
Adventures in Asia | August 7th, 7:00pm

To complement the Mill Valley Library's Passport to the World reading program, the Library is hosting a series of travel and cultural  lectures.

Nick Zoa, former Word and Excel teacher at the Mill Valley Public Library, spent the past six months traversing Asia.  He will present a slide show, share stories and answer questions about his adventures.  His travels took him from military bases of Afghanistan, to high rises of Hong Kong; from Buddhist temples of Tibet, to the Great Wall of China.  He will share the ins and outs of fly-by-the seat-of-your-pants traveling through Asia as well as tips on landing a teaching job in China.
