GardenSmart: Gardening All Year -- Prepping Your Garden for Fall| August 16th, 1:00 pm

One of the many benefits of our climate is being able to garden year-round! Fall/Winter is still a great time to garden. This class will go over some great techniques on how to transition to your Fall garden: cool-weather edible crops, starting seeds, crop rotation, sheet mulching & planting natives.

About our speaker:  Lori Caldwell is an Alameda County Master Composter, avid edible gardener and Bay-Friendly Qualified Landscape Professional. She has been happily teaching sustainable gardening classes all over the Bay Area since 2007.  Her mission is to connect people to the soil and all that it provides.
