Steps, Lanes and Paths of Mill Valley
Robert Skip Sandberg


The popular photo essay book Steps, Lanes and Paths of Mill Valley was published two years ago by local Mill Valley photographer and author Robert Skip Sandberg.

This exhibit of photos from the book celebrates our community efforts to rebuild our iconic steps and paths to create what the Marin Independent Journal has described as a “pedestrian paradise”.

In the foreword to the book, Victoria Talkington said, “Sandberg’s splendid photographs are the paths’ testimony … beauty, excitement, tranquility and – yes! - fun, explaining why we need the paths for ourselves, for all time.”
