After several years in which the Library was unable to provide group computer instruction, we are proud to announce the relaunch of our computer lab with an array of classes, ranging from those teaching basic computer skills to high-end graphic design.
Thanks to generous funding from the Mill Valley Library Foundation and the Friends, the Library now has 10 MacBook Pros equipped with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software, and the resources to provide instructors for the lab. The Library gives a special thanks to the Mill Valley Library Foundation for securing the donation of the Adobe Creative Suite software.
Classes are free, but registration is required. Initially, while demand is high, priority will be given to residents in the 94941 zip code. For a full listing of classes, please see the event list below. Click on the individual event links to find class descriptions, instructor biographies, and registration information.
Note: Please do not register for more than one class of the same type, i.e., multiple PhotoShop Fundamentals classes or multiple Word Basics classes. Also, please note that if you are a no-show for two classes, you will be prohibited from signing up for another computer class at the Mill Valley Library for one year.
