Presale inspections are required prior to the sale or exchange of any residential building inside Mill Valley city limits.

To schedule an inspection, it is necessary for you to complete the Residential Building Report and bring it to the Department of Planning and Building with a check in the amount of $225 for the first unit plus $80 for each additional unit. Checks should be made payable to City of Mill Valley.

The Residential Building Report form may also be mailed with the applicable fee to 26 Corte Madera Ave., Mill Valley CA 94941. Please provide a telephone number where we may contact you to schedule an inspection.
